Taste the cuisine of Sumbawa
During your stay at Sumbawa, you have to taste Sepat. This dish is authentic to Sumbawa, so it would be a pity if you miss out this dish. Sepat is made of snapper or rabbitfish. They grill the fish after it is freshly caught. After the fish is prepared they make a delicious sauce from eggplant, young mango, aru leaves, leaf ketimus, starfruit, tomatoes, pecans and sour Sumbawa. After the sauce and the fish is prepared, they serve the dish with rice, tomato sauce and cucumber and the taste is delicious when it all comes together.
