ITINERARY:

Day 1: Jakarta

Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the city centre, where your hotel is situated.

If this is your first time in Jakarta, you will instantly feel the warmth of the tropical land, not only the weather but also the people. Jakarta is the most colorful city with its most multicultural life in Indonesia. You will find yourself enjoy the different vibes in every places you will visit in Jakarta. From the fancy nightlife in the heart of Jakarta until the old colonial atmosphere in Old Town Batavia, where it once was the center of Dutch governmental town. Let this city blows your mind with its unique treatment!

Day 2: Jakarta – Bandung

In the morning after breakfast, we will pick you up to start the tour today. Jakarta Old Town with its high value of history and architecture could be one of Indonesia’s best travel destinations. The tour starts with visiting Old Town Batavia to see the bold atmosphere of colonial era. Find historical stories Fatahillah Museum (Jakarta History Museum), was used before as Stadhuis of Batavia. Getting to know more about Wayang (leather shadow puppets) from all over places in Indonesia in Wayang Museum, formerly was a building of De Oude Hollandsche Kerk. Then continue the trip to Bandung with passing National Museum Jakarta as the capital city’s landmark. You will arrive in Bandung in late afternoon.

Day 3: Bandung

In the morning after breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up to start the day tour exploring main highlights in Bandung. Start with visiting the famous volcanic crater Tangkuban Perahu, which has a shape of upside-down boat and has a mythical history behind that you would enjoy hearing. Next, you will continue to the city for an art deco walking tour along Asia Afrika and Braga Street. In the afternoon you will visit Saung Angklung Udjo, a one-stop cultural workshop, consists of: performance venue, bamboo handicraft centre, and bamboo instrument workshop. Here you can see how Angklung (Sundanese traditional music instrument) is made from a piece of bamboo and created such a beautiful tone. You also can join in the afternoon performance and experience angklung yourself. The tour will end in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Bandung – Yogyakarta

Today is your time to leave Bandung. You can go to train station by taxi. Reaching Yogyakarta can be done by 7 hours train with a nice view along the way.

Upon your arrival, you can get the taxi to go to the hotel in the centre of Yogyakarta. If this is your first time to Yogyakarta, welcome to the heart of Java! A city where there was once Mataram Kingdom ruled the land of Central Java. The remnants of its glory can be seen from the majestic Borobudur and other temples throughout Java. This capital city of Yogyakarta Special Region is one of the most visited cities in Indonesia. The serenity, the cultural richness, the beautiful nature, and the warmth of the people make every visitor would come back again and again.

Day 5: Yogyakarta

After breakfast in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to start the tour. The tour highlight is to see the richness of Javanese culture and history. Start from Keraton or the royal kingdom palace, a royal residence as well as for other important ceremonial and cultural functions of the Yogyakarta court.

The trip continues to the great Borobudur. With the guide, you will explore this massive Buddhist Temple – the largest in the world – and know about the incredible history behind its construction. These days, the UNESCO Heritage site is still visible in its full glory – with magnificent carvings and an unusual, yet surprisingly beautiful bulk structure. After a visit this UNESCO world heritage site, you will understand why it is Indonesia’s most visited tourist attraction and a famous icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.

The trip then closed with a dokar tour in Candirejo village, where you can see the local’s daily life activities and also interact with them directly.

Day 6: Yogyakarta

Today is your free time to explore Yogyakarta. You can go on foot to Malioboro Street, or you also can ride on Becak (rickshaw) to go around Yogya city. Make sure you also try the culinary that will make you fall in love with Indonesian foods.

Day 7: Yogyakarta – Semarang

After breakfast you will check out and depart to Semarang. On the way you will visit the largest Hindu temple in Southeast Asia. This beautiful and graceful temple of Prambanan is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. Continue the trip to Semarang with optional visit to Ambarawa Railway Museum on the way. Then you will arrive in Semarang and check in to hotel.

Day 8: Semarang

Today you will explore Semarang old town. Visit the old town area, formerly known as ‘Oudstadt’, and also ‘Little Netherlands’. This part of the city resembles the architecture of Holland. It has collections of old buildings that once were the residences and offices of officials in the Dutch East India Company, also known as the VOC. Stroll around and explore the historic old buildings in what was once the European commercial district. The most renowned landmark to see here is the Koepelkerk, a Phanteon style church, locally known as Gereja Blenduk, a copper domed Dutch church dating from 1753. Not far from the Old Town, you will visit the Chinatown. Visit Sam Poo Kong Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Semarang. Unlike most temples, the building does not belong to any specific religion, but rather functions as a place of worship for people of various ethnicities and religious groups including Buddhists, Taoists and Muslims.

Complete the exploration with visiting the city landmark, Lawang Sewu (meaning: Thousand Doors). It was built as the headquarters of the Dutch East Indies Railway Company. The name comes from its design, with numerous doors and arcs. The building has about 600 large windows. The tour will end in the afternoon and we will drop you back to the hotel.

Day 9: Semarang – Surabaya

Today you will continue the trip to East Java. By morning train, you will have 4 hours train ride to Surabaya, passing such a beautiful view along the way. Arriving in Surabaya, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 10: Bromo – Kalibaru

At midnight prepare yourself to check out and drive to Bromo for an incredible experience of sunrise over Mount Bromo Transported by car to Sukapura, due to the road condition, then you will have to change to a four wheel drive to Mount Penanjakan, after the ride you have to walk a little to the higher point which is one of the best viewing point of sunrise watching, with the majestic Bromo as the background. After sunrise, you will visit Bromo crater and the black sand dune ‘Pasir Berbisik’.

The trip will continue to Kalibaru. Passing the picturesque winding road from Jember to Banyuwangi, around the foothills of Gunung Raung, through rainforest, and up to the small hill town of Kalibaru (428m). At Kalibaru village, you may see the growing of Indonesian plantation commodities, like coffee, cocoa, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, vanilla and pepper, as well as many tropical fruits.

Day 11: Kalibaru

After breakfast, visit Harnik plantation, an ancient plantation of Dutch colonial. Here you can see Robusta coffee, pepper, cocoa, cinnamon, snake fruit, rubber, and vanilla. In this plantation you will see the different kind of plants. And at the end of tour you will be able to recognizing a lot of kind of tropical plants from this plantation. The rest of the day is free time.

Day 12: Kalibaru – Lovina

It’s your time to leave the peaceful Kalibaru to continue the trip to Lovina. Passing the hilly Kalibaru, then Banyuwangi, crossing the sea by ferry, and arriving in North Bali coast line in the late afternoon. Then it’s your free time to relax in the northern quiet beach.

Day 13: Lovina

Early morning you will join in dolphin tour. Where you can see the dolphin schooling freely in the ocean during sunrise time. The rest of the day is free time.

Day 14: Lovina – Ubud

After breakfast you will be transferred to Ubud. Along the way you will pass Bedugul, an uphill area with cool temperature, where you can stop by at the famous Ulun Danu Temple by Bedugul Lake. You can buy the entrance ticket on the spot. Don’t forget to also stop by at Candikuning traditional market where you can find many exotic tropical fruits, vegetables, plants, snacks, and souvenirs. Then you will continue drive and drop off at you hotel in Ubud.

Day 15: Ubud

It’s your day to exploring the villages in Ubud by bike. Escaping the crowds, you will pass through rice paddies and villages, whilst taking in the activities and daily life of local Balinese people. Learn about various plants and their functions, local culture and traditions, as well as visiting temples and traditional Balinese housing compounds. There is time to stop and engage the local people in conversation, something that will l only enhance your experience. After lunch back to hotel.

Day 16: Ubud

Today is your free dday to relax at the leisure. Or you can join in an optional Rafting Tour along Ayung river for 2-3 hours, you will pass by the green forest, waterfall, rice field, and of course you can dip into the cool fresh water. The half day adventure trip will be finished after lunch time, and we will drop you back to the hotel.

Day 17: Ubud – Sanur/Seminyak

After breakfast, you will be transferred to South Bali. On the way you will visit Kanto Lampo Waterfall in Gianyar. An easy access waterfall where you can dip yourself in the water and take a picture under the waterfall stream. After that we will drop you off at your hotel.

Spend the last few days in South Bali beaches. You can choose either Sanur or Seminyak. Sanur is one of the beautiful South Bali beachfront. The beach stretches for about 5km along an east-facing coastline, with the lush and green landscaped grounds of resorts fronting right onto the sandy beach, also filled with fisherman colorful outriggers.

While Seminyak is Bali’s most stylish and upscale beach resort area. It’s home to among the island’s most luxurious resorts. It also hosts a number of fine restaurants and boutiques. Fashion stores lineSeminyak’s streets. You can also find some of Bali’s top dining spots where international chefs cook up world-class cuisine.

Day 18-20: Sanur/Seminyak

These days are your free time to enjoy Sanur/Seminyak. Take your time to relax on the beach, exploring the culinary, and shopping along the main boulevard.

Day 21: Departure

Finally the trip is over and it’s time for you to leave Bali. After breakfast you will have free time until check out time at 12:00 noon. And then you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. We are sure you will bring a lot of beautiful memories from your trip in Indonesia. And we wish you have a safe journey ahead.
